# About Dubai Data Who publishes Dubai Data and why. ## Who publishes this **Dubai Data is published by Continental Club Property, a licensed Dubai real estate brokerage.** We say that first, on purpose. Whois, our analytics and our outbound links would tell you anyway, and a data platform that hides its owner has already lost the argument it exists to win. We are not the Dubai Land Department, we are not affiliated with it, and nothing here is endorsed by it. We are a company that reads its open data carefully and publishes what it finds. ## Why a brokerage builds a statistics site Three honest reasons. Buyers and journalists ask factual questions that a brokerage site is the wrong place to answer. The market's public numbers are mostly repackaged press releases, and we already had the registry parsed for our own work. And a company that publishes its methodology and its limitations earns a kind of trust that advertising cannot buy. What that means in practice: there are no listings here, no prices “from the developer”, no lead forms above the fold and no articles. If a page cannot show its own numbers, it does not exist. ## The conflict of interest, and what we do about it We sell property. That is a reason to check our arithmetic, so we made checking possible: - every rule we apply is written on the [methodology page](/methodology/), with the constants published as JSON; - every dataset is named on [/sources](/sources/) with the row counts we actually hold; - every block on every page carries the source it came from, not one disclaimer at the bottom; - every page has a machine-readable mirror, so anyone can recompute our numbers from the same public data; - we publish what the data cannot show as prominently as what it can. We do not suppress figures that make the market look weak, and we do not publish a number our own sample thresholds would reject. ## Corrections If a figure here is wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it and say what changed. Methodology changes get a version bump and an entry in the version history. ## The commercial part, stated plainly Some pages link to our brokerage site where a reader might reasonably want to see what is for sale. Those links are marked as what they are. Nothing published here is ever put behind a form: the numbers on this site are free and stay free. ## Not advice Nothing on this site is investment advice, a valuation, an offer or a recommendation. It is descriptive statistics computed from public records.
